Do the residents of the Parish Support the proposal?

The National Day of Reflection on 23 March 2022. It is a day to support the millions of people who have been bereaved during the pandemic, and to reflect on the lives of family, friends, neighbours and colleagues who have died from Covid or other causes, offering a time for people to pause, reflect and support each other.

The National Day of Reflection is organised by Marie Curie (www.mariecurie.org.uk/get-involved/day-of-reflection), with the aim of encouraging organisations and individuals to engage in the day, which looks to reflect on our collective loss, support those who have been bereaved, and hope for a brighter future.

To support the message of 'hope for a brighter future' in 2022 the district council is proposing the installation of commemorative benches and trees in parishes across the district, working in partnership with parish councils.
