Leicestershire County Council have a Highways Parish Fund that has become available following the recent pandemic; a small amount of money has been allocated to the parish to use to fund improvements on the network, providing they are safe. The stipulation required to be successful for the application is that the project must support social distancing and active travel.

Garden bin and cardboard collections
North West Leicestershire District Council has confirmed that your garden bin and cardboard collections are returning to their usual fortnightly cycle later this month.

Long Whatton and Diseworth Flood Modelling Study - Update
LCC has drafted and submitted a bid for Local Levy to fund the proposed option for Diseworth including Natural Flood Management, Property Level Resilience and gauges.

All 14 county waste sites back in business
Leicestershire County Council's Loughborough and Somerby recycling and household waste sites will re-open this weekend – meaning that all 14 in the county are now open to the public.
Nine of the sites will be open five days a week – the same number of days as before the coronavirus pandemic disrupted the service.
